About + SUPPORT + TEAM |
This website grew out of efforts by Climate Smart Missoula to help our community during times of wildfire smoke and other changing summer conditions. Initial funding was provided by the Montana Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund. We work closely with Sarah Coefield, Air Quality Specialist with the Missoula City-County Health Department, Tom Javins, mechanical engineer, and myriad partners.

Climate Smart Missoula acts as a hub to ensure that our community is planning and acting on climate change, and we look for opportunities to share our approach with others around Montana. This site was established as a part of our Summer Smart Initiative, with the goal to provide accurate and easy-to-access information on wildfires, smoke, and health to all Montana communities affected by fire.
